Internet dating safety act
Safety is still safety and being safe ALL the time is a better bet than trusting your gut with someone you have never met, don’t ya think? So there you have it, quick and easy safety tips for the first date meeting from an online connection. It was kinda easy to WOO and WOW women on the phone and they not only thought me safe, they felt an almost unique connection with me.Now I mostly would talk to moms, because as a dad, I thought them safe. Just because they read a profile and a few correspondences or shared one cocktail at a bar, they felt they knew me and felt comfortable.By the way, this works for offline connections too.Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. As a man who is an excellent communicator and emotionally connected, I was one of the most dangerous of daters.Because some women felt an instant chemistry and even a spiritual connection with me, as if they had known me all their life…“he’s different so he must be safe.” Well the good news is that I was and am safe and so are most guys.
If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.
Stop communicating with anyone who pressures you for personal or financial information or attempts in any way to trick you into revealing it." with another member, always tell someone in your family or a friend where you are going and when you will return. Always provide your own transportation to and from your date and meet in a public place with many people around." (b) If an Internet dating service, Internet child care service, Internet senior care service, or Internet home care service does not conduct criminal background screenings on its members, the service shall disclose, clearly and conspicuously, to all Illinois members that the Internet dating service does not conduct criminal background screenings.
The disclosure shall be provided in two or more of the following forms: when an electronic mail message is sent or received by an Illinois member, in a "click-through" or other similar presentation requiring a member from this State to acknowledge that they have received the information required by this Act, on the profile describing a member to an Illinois member, and on the website pages or homepage of the Internet dating service, Internet child care service, Internet senior care service, or Internet home care service used when an Illinois member signs up.
My experiences and understanding the way men think and act has allowed me to share my wisdom to help women who are single and looking.
So my lesson today is to recognize that sometimes intuition can be confused by the chemical attraction or connection we feel for another person “as if we’ve known them all our life.” Common sense can be thrown out the window by believing it’s our inner voice talking.
